Dr. Los is a native Californian and a graduate of Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha. Dr. Los comes from a long lineage of dentists - he is the third generation in his family to follow this path and each has been a graduate of Creighton. In addition his dedication to his private practice, Dr. Los is active in many aspects of dentistry including research, teaching and philanthropy. While Dr. Los considers his a "general dentistry" practice, he specializes in a broad spectrum of procedures including dental implants, bonding, veneers and whitening systems. In his on-going efforts to achieve excellence, he attends lectures and continuing education courses in his areas of specialization. Dr. Los is also a recognized speaker, has produced numerous published papers; and as a conscientious humanitarian, he is an active participant in Flying Doctors and has traveled as far west as the Marshall Islands in support of Canvasback Missions, organizations created to provide dental and medical care in poverty-stricken communities abroad. In recognition of his contributions to the dental community, Dr. Los was presented with the Pierre Fauchard Award.
Lynne Marie Raguindin is a Registered Dental Assistant. She has been an RDA since 2006. Lynne brings a wide range of experience to our office with General, Pediatrics, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery. She obtained her AS in Biology from Chabot College, a BA in Political Science of California State Hayward, and a Certificate of Dental Assisting from Bryman College. In addition, she has her Dental Sealant Certification and Oral Maxillary Surgery Assistant Certification. Lynne was born and raised in Livermore, CA and made her way to San Jose for college. Deciding to stay, she loves to hike and goes sea glass hunting in her free time. Lynne and her husband currently live in San Jose with their 2 cats.
Ema is a Registered Dental Hygienist who joined our office in 2012. She has been in the dental field for over 25 years. As a dedicated and skilled clinician, her well-rounded focus on dentistry has given patients positive impact on their dental health. Ema received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Southern California and received the Ruth Ragland Award for outstanding achievement in clinical dental hygiene. Ema also received her license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice from West Los Angeles College where she received specialized training to allow her to practice in settings outside of the traditional dental office. In her spare time, Ema enjoys spending time with her husband and friends as well as shopping, traveling, and trying new recipes
Karen is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has been with our team since 2009. Her gentle and compassionate approach will put even the most uneasy patients at ease. She graduated from the dental hygiene program at Foothill College with honors in 2007 and has been in the dental field since 2004 where she started as a dental assistant. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and helping them achieve their optimal oral health. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, baking, shopping and traveling.
With over 10 years in the dental field, Sara is very knowledgeable in both administrative and clinical aspects of the dental office. She enjoys helping patients with their insurance and appointments as well as chairside during their procedure. Sara enjoys spending time at the beach and with family. She and her husband are expecting their first child June 2018.
